Ein griechisches Sprichwort sagt „Die Zeit ist die Seele der Welt“. In den letzten Wochen hatte eto Zeit, die Zeit um endlich ein lange geplantes Vorhaben zu realisieren und einige bereits vor längerem komponierte, fast vergessene Stücke aus seinem Archiv zu suchen, zu überarbeiten und neu zu arrangieren.

Dabei mischen sich Jahre alte Aufnahmen mit neuen Ideen, das Ergebnis sind vier beeindruckende Titel auf der EP „Time Capsule“ die diese Tage auf dem Essener Label „Creme Royale“ erscheint.

A Greek saying tells us "Time is the soul of the world". During the last weeks eto took the time to realize a long planed idea. He rediscovered some old and nearly forgotten songs in his archives and put them, rearanged, in modern flair.

The result: four impressing songs, a mixture of old recordings and new ideas, combined on his new EP "Time Capsule". The record is going to be released these days on the German label "Creme Royale".

„Plastic Poetry“ ist eigentlich ein 80er Jahre New Romatic Album par excelence. Etos Songs verbinden geschickt großen Retro Sound mit modernen Club und Electro-Elementen. Dabei zeigt er Mut zur feinen Melodie und singt über Freundchaft, Liebe, Sex und Wahnsinn.

Nach zweijähriger Schaffensphase bietet „Plastic Poetry“ eine üppige Pallette elektronischer Feinkost. Auf dem lang erwarteten Album gibt uns eto in 14 Songs einen Einblick in seine Welt; neben dem bereits als Single veröffentlichten Hideway sind auch die begehrten MySpace Klassiker „Bicurious“ und „Love Crystals“ vertreten. Mit „Bulldozer“ und „Nobody Knows“ zeigt eto dabei seine ruhige Seite.

"Plastic Poetry" is a classic "new romantic" album par excellence. Eto combines his big retro sound with modern elements of the modern club and electro scene. He concentrates on finding simple melodies und sings about friendschip, love, sex and insanity.

It took two years to finish the album, but now it´s done. In 14 songs eto gives us an impression of his world. In addition to his single release "Hideaway" the album also includes the mySpace classics "Bicurious" and "Love Crystals". With "Bulldozer" and "Nobody Knows" eto show us his sensitive side.

Be bicurious. Die Message ist eindeutig. Ein leicht frivoler Text über sexuelle Aufgeschlossenheit, freie Liebe und Loslösung von verstaubten Moralvorstellungen.

Musikalisch eine Hommage an New Order und Duran Duran. Eto beweist einmal mehr seine Liebe zum großen Sound der 80s. Auf seiner zweiten Single aus dem aktuellen Album Plastic Poetry befindet sich ein starkes Mix-Paket von House bis Electro-Pop.

Be bi-curious. The message is clear. The lyrics are about sexual open mindedness, free love and liberation from oldfashioned morals.

This song is an hommage to New Order and Duran Duran. Once more eto proves his love for the great sound of the 80s. Bicurious is the second single release of his album plastic poetry and contains a colourful package of house and danceable electro-pop mixes.

Melancholie auf Synthiebeat. Die kühlen Achtziger treffen die trickreiche Moderne. Eto schreibt hochauflösende Songs über Dinge, die ihn bewegen, die aus seinem Kopf wollen, um sie dann mit Elementen aus Elektro, Downbeat oder Minimal zu mischen. Er sieht sich selbst als Songwriter im klassischen Sinne, trotz aller gewollter Synthetik und Tanzgefühl.

Er macht alles allein, ist ein Nachtmensch. Gedanken über Beziehungsroutinen, Identität, Sexualität und unsere Gesellschaft. Aufrüttelnd, ohne Zeigefinger. Persönlich, aber übertragbar.

Seine erste Single „Hideway“ klingt als hätte man einen Künstler aus den 80er Jahren per Zeitreise in ein kontemporäres Studio geholt. Melancholy on electronic beats - 80's synthiepop meets the tricky present. In spite of the plastic programmings and clubby attitude, eto regards himself as a classic songwriter.

Writing, composing or programming - eto does everything by himself. He is a nightowl and spends most of the time in his studio. There he creates high resolution songs about love, life, identity and insanity. All mixed up with a portion of electro, downbeat or minimal.

His single "hideaway" sounds like a time travel from an 80's artist into a contemporary studio of the present. Beautiful electro pop with big emotional density and touching lyrics. It's the first release from the forthcoming album "Plastic Poetry".
